The Thailand One Health University Network (THOHUN) organized a workshop titled “Grant Proposal Development to Strive toward THOHUN Sustainability” on December 2-3, 2024, in Ayutthaya Province. The workshop aimed to promote the development and enhance the capabilities of writing research proposals and applying for funding from both national and international sources, with a particular focus on issues related to the sustainability of the THOHUN network.

Following the successful establishment of research groups in various disciplines in 2023, THOHUN has conducted research on significant topics such as antimicrobial resistance, environmental issues, climate change, food safety, community health, non-communicable diseases, communicable diseases, as well as research and technology development to support the sustainability of THOHUN. The purpose of this workshop is to enhance the skills necessary to write research proposals and funding packages that can be effectively used to apply for financial support from both domestic and international funding agencies.
