Thailand One Health University Network– National Coordinating Office (THOHUN-NCO) team headed to Ranong Province on March 9-10, 2023 to organize the Training of Emerging Infectious Disease for Thai Village Health Volunteers (VHVs). Over 60 VHVs from Ranong, Chumphon and Surat Thani came together for various training topics including health literacy, analysis and problem solving of community health as well as creating and presenting health information among other relevant topics. THOHUN is honored to have Dr. Pahurat Kongmuang from the Thai Ministry of Public Health to lead the session on risk communication. VHVs also shared their first-hand experiences on how to promote healthy behavior in their communities.
