On behalf of the Centre for Applied One Health Research and Policy Advice (OHRP) at City University of Hong Kong, we are delighted to invite you to join us at the One Health Week at City University to commemorate the International One Health Day on November 3rd, 2023.

The International One Health Day is an initiative created by the One Health Commission, and the One Health Initiative. It aims to address the pressing need for a One Health transdisciplinary approach in tackling today’s critical global health challenges. The main goal is to raise awareness among different sectors of society about the importance of moving beyond current limited approaches to issues such as emerging infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, climate change, environmental pollution, and many others, and embracing a holistic approach as the default way of doing business.

This year, the OHRP team has put together an exciting series of free One Health Webinars (Oct 30th – Nov 3rd, 2023): We have gathered five distinguished speakers from the region to share their insights and engage in discussions on topics related to the achievements and challenges of the One Health approach in safeguarding the health of humans, animals, and the environment.
