Development of a web-based toolkit for planning, designing and assessment of competency-based education/training

At Phusakthan Resort, Nakorn Nayok province on February 27-28, 2023, THOHUN hosted an interactive workshop entitled “Development of a web-based toolkit for planning, designing and assessment of competency-based education/ training”. Over 25 THOHUN faculty members across Thailand attended the program. Foundations of competency-based education, Bloom’s Taxonomy, constructing alignment and writing learning objectives/ outcomes were some of the topics included among others.
Targeted groups for competency-based education are Bachelor’s students, Master’s and PhD’s students, secondary, high school students as well as village health volunteers and vocational students. Post-workshop, THOHUN plans to integrate our previous platforms into a web-based toolkit for planning and designing of Competency-Based Education/ training and competency assessment.
