One Health: Working Together to Stop Potential Pandemics The University of Minnesota-led One Health Workforce project hosted a seminar in celebration of One Health Day on November 3, 2017. The One Health approach brings together various disciplines such as medicine, veterinary medicine, public health, nursing, and ecology to work together to more effectively address health challenges at the interface of animals, humans, and the environment. During the seminar, One Health experts discussed how a multi-sectoral approach is needed to prevent, detect, and respond to infectious disease threats around the world.
